This bird gets its name from my last two trips to Brazil. We have raised 12 Blue Marlin over 400lbs in our last 11 fishing day in Brazil. The one common demoninator in each of the bites have been a little home made soft bird that they troll in front of each long rigger bait. When we got home we started working with the manufacturers and came up with our version of the Shavashava Bird. That is the name the Brazilans used for the teaser.
